You should choose to stand under the following situations like when you have 17, a pair of 10s or A-8 as these hands values total are 17, 20 and 19 which is likely to be a winning number maximum time if the dealer doesn’t have a blackjack or 21.

Double Down

When the player chooses to double down, this means to make your bet double while one additional card is dealt to you. You can double down during the hand and since you have increased the bet, chances are of a higher payout. It is recommended to always double down if you gave 10 or a pair of 5s and do the same if you have 11 until and unless the dealer has A or 10.

Split

Just like the term split, this action will split your 2 cards in two separate hands and then each of them will add new cards to the hand. Now you will add your bets like the original bet. You can split only on paired hands and it is advised to split when you have pairs of Aces, 7s, and 8s.

Insurance

Insuring your bet costs half on your initial bet and pays 2:1. If the dealer’s second card value is King, Queen, Jack, or a 10, the dealer has a blackjack on their hand and you get the Insurance

Side Bet
