RCB vs LSG IPL Dream11 Prediction

Match: Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Lucknow SuperGiants Date: 02 April 2024

Venue: M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru

Pitch report:
Namma Bengaluru’s Chinnaswamy Stadium stands still as one of the best pitch to bat in India. The small boundaries and fast outfield create perfect conditions for matches where teams rack up high scores.

In the new season of IPL, RCB had a rough start, losing to CSK but then winning against PBKS. They were expected to do better at home but surprisingly lost their first home game of the season. RCB's bowling has been problematic, and even the batters haven't performed consistently, except for Virat Kohli. Overseas players like Faf Du Plessis, Glenn Maxwell, and Cameron Green have struggled

On the other hand, LSG lost their opening match to RR but came back strong against PBKS. They seem well-balanced this season, but their young bowling lineup will face a test on the flat pitch at Chinnaswamy Stadium. How they adapt there will decide the outcome of the match. Here is our RCB vs LSG Team Prediction

Royal Challengers Bengaluru

Lockie Ferguson is in line to replace Alzarri Joseph in the playing XI after the Windies pacer’s ordinary run in the last few games. RCB would also be mulling over playing Will Jacks but they don’t have overseas slots available. They can, however, replace Joseph with Akash Deep and get Will Jacks in place of Rajat Patidar, but that is an unlikely scenario so early in the tournament.

Lucknow Super Giants KL Rahul was a key player in the last game, but he should come back as captain for the RCB match. Naveen ul Haq should also return to the team instead of M Siddharth.

Weather report: The weather will be nice with clear skies, and temperatures will be in the comfortable 20°C . The breeze will make it easier for the ball to travel further.

Here is our MI vs GT Player Prediction

RCB

Faf du Plessis (c), Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar, Glenn Maxwell, Cameron Green, , Anuj Rawat (wk), Alzarri Joseph/Lockie Ferguson, Mayank Dagar, Mohammed Siraj, Yash Dayal

LSG
Quinton de Kock (wk), KL Rahul (C), Devdutt Padikkal, Ayush Badoni, Nicholas Pooran, Marcus Stoinis, Krunal Pandya, Ravi Bishnoi, Mohsin Khan, Mayank Yadav, Naveen ul Haq

RCB Key Players

Glenn Maxwell - Maxwell looked better in the last game, scoring 28 runs in 19 balls, but needs to play more responsibly. He has the potential to win matches for RCB if he plays sensibly. Vijaykumar Vyashak - Vyashak was impressive in the last match against KKR, conceding only 23 runs in four overs and taking a wicket. He can be trusted for another good performance.

Virat Kohli - Kohli has been RCB's top performer, scoring 77 and 83 runs in the last two games respectively, totaling 181 runs in IPL 2024. He's leading in runs this season.

Cameron Green - Green showed improvement in the last game, scoring 33 runs in 21 balls. However, RCB needs more from their overseas batters. Green will aim to make a bigger impact, especially against LSG's spinners.

LSG Key Players

KL Rahul - Rahul is a key player for LSG's batting lineup and has the responsibility of scoring big at Chinnaswamy Stadium. He plays the stabilizing role, allowing others to play freely. Rahul scored a fifty in LSG's first game against RR.

Krunal Pandya - Pandya will be valuable for LSG with his all-round abilities. He scored 43 runs in 22 balls against PBKS and can also trouble RCB's batsmen with his left-arm spin.

Mayank Yadav - Yadav impressed in his first game, bowling consistently at 150 kmph and taking three wickets against PBKS. He turned the game around for LSG when PBKS were dominating.

Quinton de Kock - De Kock was in great form against PBKS, scoring a quick 54 runs in 38 balls. He'll be eager to bat on a flat Bengaluru pitch against RCB's weak bowling attack.

RCB has a slight edge to win, mainly because they're playing at home. With Virat Kohli in top form, they have a good chance. Even if one of Green, Maxwell, or Faf performs well, RCB can set a big score. Although their bowling seems weak, if they score enough runs, they can put pressure on LSG. LSG has a strong batting lineup, but they've shown they can struggle under pressure, especially if they lose early wickets. Overall, RCB is the favourite to win.
