Step 1 –

The game starts with the players making the bets. The player needs to select a chip size that he wants to bet with. Click the table layout to place the bet.

Now a beginner needs to know the types of bets and the payout they offer. Usually, there is a minimum amount of 5$ that a player has to place on the bets. whether it’s inside or outside bet. Inside bets are placed on a single number or peculiar combinations. Its variations include –

• Split bet – This bet is done on adjoining numbers on the betting table, so if a player wins this bet the payout ratio is 17:1.

• Street bet – Bet is placed on three consecutive numbers. The player needs to place chip on the external border of the raw player wants to bet on. Payout in this bet is 11:1.

• Straight bet – This is the most rewarding bet in this betting game. It pays out 35:1 to the winner if he places a bet on a single number, including 0 and 00 on American wheel.

• Corner bet – Also known as Quarter bet or Square bet, this bet is a single bet on 4 adjoining numbers by placing the chip on the intersection of four numbers. This bet pays 8:1. 

• Five number bet – Considered as not-so-good bet, in this the bet is placed on five numbers namely, 0, 00,1,2, and 3. The payout in this bet is 6:1.

• Six number bet – This bet is placed by placing the chip on one of the outside borders, at the joining point of two lines. This bet pays 5:1.

Whereas, the outside bets comprises of –

• Red or Black – In this the player bets on the winning number turned out to be either red or black. This bet pays even money i.e. 1:1.

• Odd or Even – In this betting is placed on either odd or even number. This bet too pays even money, 1:1.

• Low or high – In this betting is done either on lower part i.e. numbers from 1-18 or the upper part i.e. 19-36 of the roulette table. The payout in this bet is 1:1.

• Columns – Bet is placed in this on a single column out of three, having 12 numbers displayed on it. This bet payouts 2:1.

• Dozens – In this bet is placed on one of the three dozen on the table i.e. 1-12 0r 13-24 or 25-36. Payout in this bet is 2:1. 

Step 2 –

After placing the bets by the player, the dealer or croupier spins the roulette wheel and the ball is dropped into the spinning wheel. Players are still allowed to place bets while the wheel is spinning.

Step 3 –

While the ball is rolling in the wheel the croupier announces “No more bets”. After this players are not allowed to place bets.

Step 4 –

The ball lands on the roulette wheel. If it lands on a number, color or section the player wins the money according to the payout of a bet.

Step 5 –

Now, it’s the time for the player to collect the money won from the dealer.

Tips To Win Roulette For Beginners –

 Play the Outside – It is seen that there is a fair chance of fifty-fifty to hit the winning number if a player plays on outside bets of the table.  

Play European Roulette –  If you want to play roulette it’s favorable to play the European version of roulette instead of the American one.
